Stop Managing, Start Leading
I believe that every client is whole, complete, and already capable of achieving their goals. There are no weaknesses to be fixed, only behaviors to be leveraged. Together, we'll explore personal values, current perceptions, desires, and personal and professional objectives.

Rather than focusing strictly on strengths and weaknesses, together we'll explore your unique characteristics and traits. Learning to leverage your traits and apply them appropriately to a given situation is what leads to successful outcomes.

FAQs
What is coaching?
Coaching is a partnership between an individual and a trained professional coach that aims to help the client build self-awareness and engage in a journey of self-discovery. Coaching can help individuals define professional values and goals, develop specific skills, or prepare for career growth or a major transition. Overall, coaching focuses on what each individual client needs in the present and the future to succeed in their career.
I view coaching as an opportunity to have someone who is fully dedicated to your personal and professional growth and development. I believe you already have the tools to succeed, coaching will help you use them effectively.
Is coaching therapy?
No, coaching is not therapy. A key difference is that therapy is designed to help heal past trauma or work to improve your overall mental health. If you are struggling with issues of mental health, such as symptoms of depression or anxiety, I recommend seeking a trained licensed therapist.
A second difference is the length of the relationship. Together, we set specific goals and spend a predetermined amount of time working toward those goals. The key success marker for me as your coach is that you achieve your goals and no longer need my services.
Considering the different focuses of therapy and coaching, many people benefit from working with professionals in both types of supportive environments.
How is coaching different from therapy, mentorship, or consulting?
Coaching can have similar goals as therapy, mentorship, or consulting, such as greater fulfillment and happiness, or professional development and success. However, there are some major differences.
Therapy is offered by a licensed clinical professional who aims to support an individual’s mental health (see therapy FAQ). Mentorship is focused on imparting knowledge that supports a person’s professional growth and is often offered by someone with experience in a similar field, profession, or within someone’s organization. Consultants are typically hired to provide advice and tailored solutions to address specific issues related to people or business processes.
A coach, on the other hand, will partner with you to help you identify your values, set goals for development, and align your strengths and professional vision so that you find success and meaning in your career. I approach each coaching relationship with the belief that each client has the skills and answers to be successful and I let the client lead the direction of each coaching call and the overall engagement.
What can I expect from an introductory call?
A conversation – that’s it! There might be some coaching during the call, and we may discuss some of your personal and professional goals. But the real intent is to get an understanding of what coaching is, how the sessions will run, what you can expect from me, and what I expect from you during the relationship. The most important goal of the introductory call is for us to determine whether we would be a good fit for working together. The coach-client relationship can be a vulnerable space, and the ability to build trust is crucial. Therefore, we will spend some time just getting to know each other.
